KINDERGARTEN STUDENT REGISTRATION

Beginning with the 2008-09 School Year, the Oroville City Elementary School District will offer both HALF DAY and ALL-DAY kindergarten classes at the following elementary schools: 

 
Bird Street School, 1421 Bird Street, Oroville, 532-3001
 
Oakdale Heights School, 2255 Las Plumas Avenue, Oroville, 532-3004
 
Ophir School, 210 Oakvale Avenue, Oroville, 532-3005
 
Stanford Avenue School, 1801 Stanford Avenue, Oroville, 532-3006
 
Wyandotte Avenue School, 2800 Wyandotte Avenue, Oroville, 532-3007.
 
Our Kindergarten Program Provides:
*          Smaller class sizes
*          Highly-qualified teachers

*          Math and manipulatives
*          Hands-on science
*          Computer-assisted learning
*          Safe, nurturing environment
*          Research-based primary reading program

Registration for the Fall, 2008 begins April 1, 2008 and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  Parents are encouraged to stop by the school office to register. Please remember to bring your child's birth certificate, immunization record, and a dental assessment/waiver form. The child must be five years of age no later than December 2.
 

The first day of school for the 2008-09 School Year will be Monday, August 25, 2008.
