We believe our school provides something extra special for your child… that is a shared, active commitment of students, parents, teachers, school staff and administrator to pursue excellence in the education that we provide. To aid you in sharing in this partnership of educating your child, we have made this website available to you. It is not intended to be a substitute to personal visits to our school. We encourage you to visit and share any and all thoughts that will aid in the betterment of your child’s education. The Stanford Avenue School program is based on the idea of community. Working as individuals and together as members of groups, students will realize their responsibility to themselves, towards each other and for the world.

Our Mission

A meaningful, integrated program that is activity-based will facilitate our students’ discovery of learning and producing knowledge. This challenging work, based on quality expectations will help all students develop a sense of capability, optimism, significance, acceptance and influence. Through a partnership among students, parents, teachers and community, the goals of the Stanford Avenue program will be met. We believe, in order to achieve our mission, the entity of school must be safe and free of negative influences for the students and ourselves.
